Birds and butterflies

Week 28; 15 July 2017 - Jahra Pools Reserve and Jahra Farm

An early visit to JPR where the bird of the day is the seldom seen Water Rail, this a young bird which confirms breeding for this summer

A single foraging Whiskered Tern was seen at the bigger pool.

Since there was not much else, tried Jahra Farm over the freeway, but even less here other than a selection of butterflies seen in the fields;
