Crisping in the midday sun

Week 30; 29 July 2017 - Jahra Farm and Jahra Pools Reserve

Back to Jahra again today, stopping first at Jahra Farm where Bank Myna was seen - looks like a summer of 2017 offspring

Keeping out of the sun was a Red-backed Shrike

At JPR, a Common Cuckoo was seen flying over the reed beds

Whilst Indian Reed Warbler was sitting quietly in the shaded reeds below

As was this Woodchat Shrike, avoiding the direct sun

Little Stint in breeding plumage was feeding in a secluded pool

A White Wagtail was a real surprise, as this is a winter visitor to Kuwait

One of the common Skimmer Dragonflies seen frequently at JPR
