I was able to spend the last few hours of the day at Jahra Pools Reserve, although diversity and abundance was lower than reported the previous day.
A Great Cormorant along the road seemed quite obliging, but I suspect it wasn't well

When the sun was nearing the horizon, I headed back to the gate, stopping to get the Black-headed Gull's returning to roost with the setting sun as a backdrop
