Had a quick visit to Jahra in the late afternoon, although temperatures were still pretty brutal to be out. Started at JPR with Omar, where there were a smattering of migrant species; Little Gull, Yellow Wagtail, Common Tern, Bar-tailed Godwit and Terek Sandpiper - but too distant and too much heat haze.
I stopped at Jahra Farm and caught up with a bird that is very close to my heart and brings memories of my Dad (If you have seen "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" you will understand the significance.
