I met with Omar Al Shaheen at JPR in the late afternoon, as the lingering Red Knot was still present on the beach. This is only the 7th record of this species in Kuwait. Mid summer and photography don't go hand-in-hand, so these are just record images.

The Spur-winged Lapwing and Little Gull were also seen, but too distant to photograph. I did manage a Black-crowned Night Heron that was uncharacteristically out in the open during the day. This may be one of this year's offspring.
