We have shorter working hours during Ramadan, so I joined Neil Tovey and Markus Craig for a quick visit to Pivot Fields before work.
Lesser Kestrels were on the telephone lines after the entrance to the farms

Many Shrike species present, along with European Roller and two Harrier species. A small flock of NT Black-winged Pratincoles allowed close approach in one of the fields.

All too soon the time was up and I had to rush to work, but it was a privilege to be able to get into the fields again, as this is really a great birding location.
