Decided to have a quick visit to JPR in the afternoon as spring migration is now coming to an end..
A Continental Great Cormorant seems to be over-summering at JPR this year

A Common Quail was found hiding then foraging in some short grass next to the road

Little Ringed Plovers are still present

As are the resident White-tailed Lapwing as the sun sets on another day

Summer is certainly upon us and the next few months are going to be challenging
