Harbour birds

Week 15; 13 April 2017 - Souk Sharq

The good weather continues, so another stop at the harbour on route to work.

However, fewer sea birds than yesterday, for no apparent reason.

Only a few Lesser Crested Tern's

Not many Common Black-headed Gull's

Common Black-headed Gull (Chroicocephalus ridibundus)

But a single European Bee-eater overhead

European Bee-eater (Merops apiaster)

Along with a number of Pallid Swifts

Pallid Swift (Apus pallidus)
