With the daylight hours getting a little longer, it means on the way to work, I have some time to stop off at Souk Sharq Harbour and still get to work in good time.
This is the best time to be at the harbour, as the sun is behind and offers a good opportunity to photographs Gulls and Terns as they forage close to shore.
So the post for today is a Tern overdose, starting with Lesser Crested

and then Sandwich
Sandwich Tern (Sterna sandvicensis) |
A Common Sandpiper passing by was just an opportunity to try the auto focus and it handled it pretty well for such a small bird against the sea
Common Sandpiper (Actitis hypoleucos) |
Mending the nets |
