A quick visit to JPR in the afternoon to follow up on the now not-proven Long-toed Stint gave a few other birds.
I had a Black-crowned Night Heron fly in over the outfall - not sure if I prefer the colour of B+W image

A Near Threatened European Black-tailed Godwit is always a treat to see.

As the temps start increasing heat haze plays havoc with getting sharp images - other than getting out really early, it is something we have to accept especially at sites with moisture in the ground. Here a 'soft' Green Sandpiper
